Is there a deeper commonality among the movements?

In mid 2024, many speakers at public events said, clearly, yes. We are not just a random coalition of divergent movements. We are actually united in defense of our common rights against a system, against actual people and predatory institutions called imperialism, colonialism, and yes global capitalism.

My editorial last july cited three such speeches, there were another three different speakers who made the same point and it was around this time SEAIC was formed uniting ~twenty of the leading progressive or radical groups in Eugene from antifa to palestine, labor to carbon, homelessness to socialism.

U.S., Turkey and Israel install Salafist head choppers in Syria

The US administration has committed its latest great crime against humanity by supporting HTS takeover of Syria. For generations, Syria has been a diverse country, but the black-flag head choppers are already executing thousands of people with different religious, social or political views. The Alawites, Shia, anybody diverse. Things will get even worse; basically Jelani's HTS forces are ISIS. And Israel has already begun to expand their Golan occupation, declaring the Golan is annexed to Israel forever. That's what they're doing in areas of southern Lebanon. Israeli fundamentalists regard everything up to the Tigris as greater Israel. Syria is gone. Turkey is effectively annexing NW Syria, the US proxies in North syria want to establish Kurdistan, and of course Israel wants all the territory they can take. Get back to work. Expose the MICC

Just posting some basic, well written articles here. We really need to start talking about the MICC more clearly and specifically. For example the MICC itself is not the only cause of U.S. wars. Any particular war, such as Iraq or Vietnam, was also driven by *several* other factions or lobbies. Ranging from the religious or ideological, to oil and gas interests, foreign lobbies like Israel, capital market and banking interests, the "Dollar hegemons", etc.

So you have the MICC itself, a gigantic blind cyclops who doesn't have any values or motives other than enriching itself. Located within a constellation of other factions.

OK then, to examine the iron-triangle of the MICC, itself, each of the major elements (classically, this would be industry, legislature, and state bureaucracy). These all need to be exploded into specific diagrams of the actor-types and what these actors are doing, in their transactions with each other--- Diagrams of corruption.
